drifting through the day & retail therapy

today was slow as hell. one of those days where you just kinda exist, no highs, no lows, just floating through time. i can't say that i can complain. i love slow days. well, most of my days are slow, but still.

not much happened today. for most the day, i watched some random youtube videos, and debated starting a new show but couldn't commit to anything. man, it's been a whole since i've watched an anime or something. i swear, choosing a game or a show takes more energy than actually playing or watching. first-world problems at their finest. (or is it second world problems, since i'm balkaner?)

ended up buying three games because apparently, i have zero self-control whenever i have "extra" money (it is never actually extra, but whatever). picked up lost records: bloom & rage, hello kitty island adventure, and slime rancher. one on steam, two on xbox.
the lost records: bloom & rage literally came out today, it's a new game by the same developers of life is strange series, so you definitely can see why i got that, right? hello kitty island adventure because... butters. just kidding! hello kitty island adventure is indeed the most random purchase, but it looks cute as fuck, what else needs to be said? and slime rancher is also just cute. i have no idea when i'm actually gonna play them, but that's a problem for future me... except for the lost records game, i've already played multiple hours today!

also, i ordered an external nvme enclosure for my old ssd. i upgraded my ssd a few days ago, and it felt kinda shitty just letting the old one sit there, doing nothing. might as well turn it into extra storage instead of letting it rot in a drawer like some relic. honestly, i'm just glad i didn't do my usual thing of putting off small tasks for months. although, it will take months before i can acutally use it, because cheap goods from china take so long to arrive.

anyway, that's about it. a slow-ass day, but not a bad one.
