a fucking running joke about ‘uncle kim’ (kim jong un) and him being the only one able to visit my website from inside north kroea? the joke the big portion of tech community has made at one point? but no, allegedly its a problem when i do it huh? when others do it its ‘hehe funny joke’ when i do it, it is ‘offensive, abusive, or hateful’. give me a motherfucking break. ill rather have zero visitors than having to walk on the goddamn eggshells. indieweb space is advertised as a place ‘free of social media outreach’, but then people have same reaction someone on twitter would have lmfao. you are ridiculous. everything is offensive, everything is racist even when it isn’t, everything is policed. fuck all that. im so fucking tired. i grew up in a place where minor things like this don’t matter, and now every slightly edgy joke is seen with hostility. like what the actual fuck are we on about? i’m not a troll, im not an edgelord, i don’t use dog whistles, and i don’t think i am a bad person. but god fucking forbid im not always politically correct lol. you people need to understand im not an activist of any sort. im just a regular human.

a joke on my own fucking homepage! where the punch of joke is that website can load on a crude, buggy, very restricted OS, compared with a running north korea joke most of the internet has made at one point?? why is it fine when others do it but its a problem when i do it? what the fuck do you want me to do? what the fuck do you want me to post? you guys take offense to everything. again, i understand now why people were angry for that word but this is different. its just sme fucking edgy irony. how the fuck is it racist? do i really need to explain the goddamn joke? because here it is: uncle kim is mock-endorsement of kim jong un. it’s not a mockery because he is a korean, its a mockery because he is a dictator. next, “see, my website technically works on great people’s operating system!” is a clear irony/sarcasm for everyone with a working pair of eyes! and the “인민 환영합니다!” is again not mocking the people/language but the propaganda language lol. this roughly translates to “comrades, welcome!” there is nothing racist about this.
and if i cant make stupid meta commentary on my personal goddamn website what is a the point of having a website. im so done. i shall never directly share any of my shit with anyone anymore. if you care about whatever im gonna spew, you know where to find me.
