sometimes all you have to do is ask
as you may or may not know — i am unemployed. living in a small town, finding work is incredibly difficult, and i feel like most job listings are more of a formality sake, and the job has been promised to someone else, rather than them being genuine offers.
so what does this have to do with anything? well, this website would go down, probably forever over a measely 20-something euros. this is clearly not a lot of money, not even in eastern/central europe, but its the money i embarrassingly still didn’t have. so for the past few weeks, i’ve had this annoying popup (now removed) essentially begging for money. as kind of a paranoid person, i only accepted crypto; however, a member of a forum i share my blogpost on said that most people don’t want anything to do with crypto. once i’ve provided an alternative, he clutched and just paid for my domain name in full! can you belive that?

thank you so much manuel!
the world is kinder than you think; people are more willing to help you than you think. but you need to put yourself out there first, and ask for what you need. you’ll be surprised how far you’ll get! even if it’s something “stupid”, or “pointless”, there will always be at least one person that supports what you’re doing! that one person can change the entire game for you! like, the doors you didn’t even know existed start opening! we’ve been taught to hide how we feel, to hide most of our needs, and good forbid to even think asking for money! but what most of us doesn’t get is that the vulnerability isn’t weakness, but lowkey a flex, as it shows your own humanity. plus, when you put yourself out there, you’re also inspiring others to do the same. it’s like starting a ripple that can turn into a wave. the good energy, attracts even more good energy. and for most things in life you will never get a second chance, if you do not put yourself out there now, you may never have a chance to try again.
it’s all about mindset shift, and you shouldn’t let whatever you’ve been conditioned into, to hold you down. instead of waiting for the perfect moment or fearing rejection, just go for it. even if you get a “no” as an answer. this post isn’t encouraging asking for money, but it’s encouraging putting yourself out there. because sometimes, all you ever had to do, is just ask a single question.
your energy attracts your tribe, so eventually everything will fall where it should be. a single question could change a lot. so, sometimes, all you really had to do is ask.
