terms of submission

starting on 7/16/2025, by submitting content to this website (including comments, guestbook entries, or any other contributions), you agree to the following:

1. license grant: by submitting content, you grant the site owner a perpetual, royalty-free, non-exclusive, and worldwide license to use, display, reproduce, modify, publish, and distribute your content, both in connection with this website and for any related materials, in any format now known or later developed. you retain ownership of your content, but you acknowledge that it may be publicly visible and quoted. content submitted before 7/16/2025 is not subject to these terms and is governed by the previous agreement which only permitted entries for use within, and on the guestbook itself.
2. irrevocability of license (effective 10/26/2025): starting on 10/26/2025, 09:00 PM CET, the license granted for content submissions becomes irrevocable. this means that content submitted after this date cannot be retracted, and the site owner has the right to use, sublicense, or transfer it, even if deleted from the site. these terms apply only to content submitted after 10/26/2025, 09:00 PM CET.
3. rights to submit content: you confirm that you have the legal right to submit the content and grant the license described above. you agree not to submit content that infringes on others' rights. no compensation of any sort is, or will be provided for submissions.

prohibited conduct

do not attempt to disrupt the site, probe or bypass security, spam, harass others or me, or otherwise interfere with the site's operation.

no warranty

this site is provided "as is" and "as available." i make no warranties of any kind regarding uptime, accuracy, or fitness for any purpose; as well as storage permanence.

right to discontinue / delete

i may change, suspend, or discontinue the site (and delete any content) at any time, with or without notice. for any reason, or no reason at all. i have no obligation to retain or provide copies of any content.

no professional advice

content on the site and in the guestbook, or other section(s) is for general information and community conversation. it is not professional advice (legal, medical, financial, etc.). use at your own risk.
