Unless otherwise stated, all original text published on riri.my and all real-life photographs displayed anywhere on the website, including photographs displayed on the gallery subpage, belong to me or are used by me with permission.
This includes diary entries, articles, captions, descriptions, page text, and other original written material, as well as photographs taken by me or otherwise owned by me.
You may access and read the text, view the photographs, and share links to pages on this website for lawful, personal, and non-commercial purposes.
You may not copy, reproduce, republish, translate, scrape, mirror, distribute, modify, sell, license, upload, or otherwise reuse substantial portions of the text or any real-life photograph from this website on another website, service, publication, archive, database, social-media account, or other platform without my prior written permission.
You may not present text or photographs from this website as your own, remove copyright notices or credits, or use them for commercial purposes without permission.

Comments and guestbook messages
In these Terms, “comments” include comments submitted underneath diary posts and messages submitted through the guestbook.
Comments are reviewed and moderated before they are published. However, moderation is primarily intended to prevent spam, abuse, unlawful material, and content that is unsuitable for the website.
Approval of a comment does not mean that I have independently verified its accuracy, legality, authenticity, or source. It also does not mean that I agree with or endorse the views expressed in it.
Comments represent the views of their respective commenters, not my views. You are solely responsible for anything you submit and for any consequences resulting from its publication.
Do not post anything that:

- infringes copyright, privacy, confidentiality, or another person’s rights;
- is defamatory, threatening, fraudulent, harassing, abusive, or malicious;
- contains spam, malicious code, deceptive links, or unauthorized advertising;
- reveals private, personal, or confidential information without permission;

- encourages unlawful or harmful conduct; or

Public comments are not confidential. Do not post passwords, identification numbers, private addresses, financial information, confidential messages, or anything else that should not become public.
Rights granted by posting
Comments submitted on or after August 5, 2026 become part of ririum’s published content and archive.
You retain any rights that cannot legally be transferred. However, by submitting a comment, you explicitly grant me a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive, royalty-free, fully paid, transferable, and sublicensable license to use the comment.
This license includes the right to:
- host, store, preserve, archive, and back up the comment;
- publish, reproduce, display, communicate, and distribute it;
- quote or excerpt it in other articles, diary posts, pages, or content;
- translate, format, summarize, shorten, or reasonably edit it;
- combine it with other material;
- include it in archives, feeds, screenshots, compilations, or backups;
- use it to maintain, explain, document, or promote the website; and
- use it in existing or future website content in any medium or format.
This permission includes all transferable economic usage rights reasonably necessary for these purposes. I do not have to pay you, obtain further approval from you, or notify you each time the comment is used.
Where reasonably practical, I may attribute a quotation using the name or username submitted with the original comment. I am not required to publish your legal identity or provide attribution where doing so would be impractical, misleading, unsafe, or unlawful.
Comments submitted prior to August 5, 2026 are not a subject of licence transfer.
Deleting or editing comments
Where available, a valid comment link may allow you to view, edit, download, or delete the associated comment.
Deleting a comment removes it from the live comment section and active comment database. A residual copy may temporarily remain in an existing backup until that backup is replaced or deleted.
Deleting, editing, or removing a comment does not revoke the license already granted. Material already incorporated into another article, diary post, archive, feed, screenshot, quotation, compilation, or other existing content may remain in use.
For example, if you make an important observation in a comment underneath one diary post, I may quote that observation in another diary post. If you later delete the original comment, the quotation may remain in the other post.
The same applies where a comment has already been included in a screenshot, backup, archive, feed, cached copy, or other existing material.
Comments submitted before deletion links were introduced may not have a self-service deletion option. Because comments are not connected to accounts, email addresses, or persistent identity markers, I may be unable to verify ownership of an older comment or fulfill a request where the relevant comment or commenter cannot reasonably be identified.
Moderation
I review comments before publication and may approve, reject, edit, hide, close, move, or delete them at my discretion.
Moderation does not make me the author of a comment and does not transfer responsibility for the comment from its commenter to me.
I am not required to independently investigate or verify every statement, allegation, identity, source, link, or legal claim contained in a submission.
I may refuse or remove comments that appear unlawful, irrelevant, repetitive, abusive, unsafe, misleading, promotional, or otherwise unsuitable for the website.
I am not required to publish any submission, explain why a submission was rejected, or permanently preserve any comment.
If you believe a published comment is unlawful or violates your rights, contact me and identify the relevant page, comment, and reason for the complaint. I may request additional information before taking action.
